Sick city is all about poverty, sex and drugs directed by Murray Kerr (born in England). Krishna (Arpan Thapa) plays the lead role in this movie who is very poor and is pretty confused what to do in his life to earn money. The strongest part of this movie is that it is completely natural no extra fights, actions. Sick City is shot at Basantapur and Thamel area of Kathmandu.

Sick City was awarded with the best Nepali Film in the KIMFF film festival 2010

Storyline:
Krishna (Arpan Thapa) and Maya (Sara Lama) are husband and wife who live in a hut. Krishna has a big dream to earn money to live a happy life. Krishna in his dream to earn quick money enters into drug selling business in the red light area of Thamel and runs through different difficult situations.This nepali movie has a tragic end.
